ENDURO
If you want to carve through a single-track like a hot knife through butter, Yamaha has a selection of four-stroke and two-stroke enduro machines to suit your taste and style. Headlined by the all-conquering WR250F and WR450F models with smart-phone tuning and packed full of YZ-tech, the enduro range also features the light and nimble YZ125X and potent YZ250X two-stroke enduro machines.
FUN
Yamaha's range of two-wheel dream starters have kick-started countless motorcycling life journeys and professional racing careers. Leading the way is the legendary PW50. As skill levels and confidence improve, there's a next-level Yamaha Fun Bike to continue the journey. For those more comfortable on four wheels, Yamaha has a selection of 50cc and 90cc fun ATV machines.
ADVENTURE
The Ténéré name was born out of the extreme desert condition of the torturous Dakar Rally. Four decades of competition and adventure bike evolution has led to the Ténéré 700, arguable Yamaha's best adventure bike yet. Yamaha's adventure range also features the big-bore Super Ténéré and ultra-reliable and supremely-nimble XT250, providing horizon hunters for anyone with an adventurous soul.
AGRICULTURE
Yamaha revolutionised the agricultural motorcycle market when it released the first AG bike designed from the ground up to tackle life on the land. From dual side stands to a clutch lock and carry racks, every facet of farming life was studied during the design process. Yamaha's range of AG bikes are all high on simplicity, usability, and reliability and low on maintenance and running costs.
POWER TUNER APP
The Yamaha Smartphone Power Tuner iOS® and Android® app and communication control unit connects the rider with the bike like never before. The Power Tuner app can make fuel and ignition mapping changes – uploaded wirelessly to the bike via the onboard Wi-Fi system – for the ultimate in track-side tuning.
A log function allows you to make notes about your riding location, conditions, bike settings and more, giving you a baseline for future rides. The app can also monitor a range of data such as race settings, maintenance and system diagnostics, engine run time and more.
The app can be downloaded free from App Store and Google Play and allows even greater engine mapping in greater detail than ever before, but also allows users to share settings among the team or with friends – making it even easier to share set-up information across a wide range of bLU cRU riders.

FORGED ALUMINIUM PISTONS
Our competition dirt bikes are fitted with lightweight forged aluminium pistons. This system allows the aluminium to retain more of its original strength, which enables our engineers to specify a lighter piston design, reducing reciprocating weight and enhancing throttle response.
OFFSET CYLINDER FOR REDUCED HORSEPOWER LOSS
When a piston is pushed downward by the force of combustion, there is a lateral force caused by the connecting rod that drives the piston against the cylinder wall slightly, resulting in friction loss. Yamaha offsets the cylinder to reduce the amount of angle in the piston and connecting rod when the cylinder is at its maximum internal pressure during combustion. This minimises the amount of lateral force against the cylinder wall to bring out the full power generated by combustion with the greatest efficiency.
CONTROLLED FILL FRAME TECHNOLOGY
Yamaha's bilateral beam frame delivers a balance of rigidity and flex to suit the both enduro and motocross. Controlled fill is a technique that allows our engineers to specify different thickness of aluminium into the chassis to tune the amount of flex – resulting in supreme handling and feedback to the rider. Yamaha even tunes the engine mounting brackets to deliver an excellent feeling of contact with the ground while offering vital feedback about the track surface to the rider.
INDUSTRY LEADING KYB SUSPENTION
Yamaha's range of competition machines are all fitted with industry-leading front and rear KYB suspension, specifically tuned for the intended purpose. The speed sensitive air-oil-separate upside-down front forks are acknowledged to be the best available on a production dirt bike.
SMARTPHONE POWER TUNER
Onboard WiFi allows the rider to tune our four-stroke MX and enduro models via a free Yamaha smartphone app. Changes to the fuelling and ignition timing can be made instantly and saved for future reference or to be shared with others. Race log information, system diagnostics, including engine run time, is also recorded in the app.
POWER MAP SWITCH
Our four-stroke competition machines also feature a bar-mounted engine map switch that enables switching between two power delivery modes on the fly, changing the engine characteristics to suit the riding conditions. Changes to the two available power modes can be made via the smartphone tuning app.
REVERSE FED ENGINE
Yamaha's unique ground-breaking reverse fed engine design provides a more direct and efficient route for the fuel-air mixture to enter the engine cylinder, and exhaust gasses to exit. The layout has the intake manifold at the front and exhaust manifold at the rear of the engine, with the advantage of mounting the air filter high up at the front of the bike away from the dirt. This layout’s major advantage is centralisation of mass which improves the bike's handling and agility. Only Yamaha runs with a reverse fed engine in its competition dirt bikes.
